Peter currently offers two talks entitled the first entitled "LIFE ON THE ROAD" . With a career spanning over 30 years, he has many experiences to share with audiences and he talks fondly and with good humour about those times. Without drawing breath and with anecdotes galore, he tells of some of the best and worst experiences that he has encountered along the way. He goes on to describe his time on light entertainment programmes on both BBC and ITV such as "Noel's House Party", "Keeping Up Appearances", "Darling Buds of May", "'Allo, 'Allo", "Absolutely Fabulous" and "Generation Game". Peter also recounts an audition he had with Michael Winner, Michael Caine and Roger Moore - where he would definitely have scored a "Bullseye". He also became Pierre in the ITV Drama "Lady Audley's Secret" which called for him to speak his part entirely in French.

"A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO LIFE"
In this second talk Peter continues to recall some of the colourful characters he came across during in his past, from music producers, to A-list celebrities and a couple of elderly ladies who were living in care homes, both in their 90's and with special theatrical associations. He talks with affection of some of the surprising roles he was offered and accepted and reveals the secrets of the Casting Couch. Peter also made an appearance in a costume drama starring Colin Firth entitled "The Hour Of The Pig" - a dark costume drama set in medieval France. The executive producers were a certain Harvey Weinstein and his brother Bob. That certainly WAS a film with a difference. Peter often worked with politicians at town events and functions and was not at all surprised to learn what some of them actually think of us. |
